The Story Behind To The Moon and Back Prints

The Story Behind To The Moon and Back Prints

Hello, I'm Nabeela, the artist and founder of To The Moon and Back Prints.

My story
doesn't begin with a plan to build a greeting card business. I'm actually a Chartered Accountant who has always had a creative side.

Over the years,
I've explored all kinds of creative hobbies, from oil painting and resin to pottery, drawing and making things by hand. Creativity has always been a way for me to express myself, especially when words haven't quite been enough.

When drawings became something more

I began drawing things for the people I loved. Little illustrations that carried a message, marked a moment or said something I couldn't quite explain.

Eventually, I had the opportunity to be sponsored as an artist at a trade show. That experience opened a door I
hadn't planned for, and To The Moon and Back Prints began to take shape.

What started with a love of drawing became a business built around a simple belief: we all
have the ability to make a difference in someone's day.

More than a greeting card

Today, I create hand-illustrated greeting cards, wrapping paper and gift tags designed to help people connect through life's big milestones and the quieter moments in between.

Our products are proudly Australian-made, printed on 100% recycled paper and packaged without plastic. I want the things we use to express care to reflect that same thoughtfulness towards the world around us.

We also donate 5% of retail sales to Beyond Blue, because supporting people matters beyond the products we make.

A little piece of paper with a lot of heart

I know that sometimes we care deeply about someone but struggle to find the right words. My hope is that one of my designs helps make that moment a little easier.

Thank you for being here, supporting a woman-owned Australian business and choosing to make space for meaningful connection.
